My grades are really stressing me out. I'm trying my hardest to do good but you would never be able to tell by looking at my Algebra grade. My main focus right now is to graduate high school, get in to either Geargia Military College or Valdosta Tech, jet a job in Valdosta, and move there with mu friend, Denise. I'm so ready to be on my own and experience things for myself. AH! I can't wait!

So far, all I've been working on is getting more prepared for college and becoming more independent. I've been trying to keep my grades up, as well, but I'm really not doing too well in Algebra 2 right now.. :/

Blog twenty seven
What did you do this weekend?
Friday, I left work early and went to Valdosta with some friends to go to a youth gathering at their church. We played a game called Apples to Apples, I'd never heard of it, but it was so much fun. I didn't get home home until 2 the next morning, HAH! Then on Saturday I went to work from 10am-1 and then after that I went back over to my friend's house and we decided to take a road trip to Valdosta, AGAIN. We went to the mall and ate Chik-fil-a and met up with his sister when she got off of work then we spent some time with her. I had a lot of fun. Then yesterday I just went to church and watched peter pan and took the best nap ever. I really enjoyed myself this weekend and I'm glad because that rarely happens.

Blog twenty three
This past weekend was nice. Friday, we were out of school and I woke spent the day with Ethan. We had a good time, but then I had to work at 3:30. After work I drove to visit my mom in Eastman. On Saturday my mom, little sister, cousin, aunt, and I exchanged some Valentine's gifts and then we went to the flea market to spend some time together. I bought two new skirts for really cheap and I'm excited about them. Sunday, my mom, my sister and I got up and went grocery shopping and then went home and ate lunch. Around 4:30 I headed back here to Douglas and made it in time for church. Monday I slept in late, and then got up and met Ethan and his mom at Pizza Hut for lunch. Ethan and I hung out for a bit longer after that and then I had to go in to work. Over all my weekend was pretty great. And my dad bought me a Snuggie!!! :D

Progress Reports are Monday. How do you think you did in all your classes? Also, are your parents coming to the Open House Monday night at CHS? It's the perfect opportunity for your parents to sign up for iParent. Remember if you have iParent, I'll replace your lowest grade with a 100.
My parents already have iParent and I'm hoping that they will forget about the open house. I think I've done well in all of my classes but one. Algebra 3... I'm pretty sure I have a really terrible grade in that class, and I am not looking forward to when my dad finds out about it.

Blog eighteen
Personally (along with a lot of other teachers, admin, and students) I am sick of the smoking in the bathroom. How can any of you stand to even go in the restrooms? There is no way to "air" them out either. CHS is a smoke-free campus and that will never change due to state and federal regulations. Knowing this, what solution do you have for stopping the smoking in the restrooms?
I really don't know what else could be done to prevent people smoking in the bathrooms. Other than locking the doors, but I'd rather have cigarette-smelly bathrooms than have the doors locked. They could have a teacher monitor the bathrooms more closely to make sure no one is smoking in the restrooms.......... but other than that I really don't know. I hate the smell, though, and I think its dumb that those kids can't just wait until they're out of school. Ms. Gay, that cake is so pretty!!!! I wish I could bake that well.... I wish I were talented at anything, really. Haha. I'd really love to learn how to play the mandolin. I think its good that Micheal Phelps is willing to take respinsibility for his actions. It was reckless and definately a sign of bad judgement. Its a good thing that he apologizes to all of his young fans that look up to him as a role model.

Blog fifteen
Do you watch American Idol? If yes, why? If no, why not?
I used to watch every episode of American Idol. But, this year, I've been a little slack so far. I'll probably try to watch more of it once the actual competition begins. I love watching the auditions, though because they are sooo funny. Then, once they've chosen the top twenty it gets really intense for me. I love hearing all of the different talents and sometimes I get a little too upset when America makes a dumb decision.
